The season of fall...Texas style

For those of you who live in Texas (that is likely to be everyone who reads this), you know that the season known as fall or autumn doesn't really exist here. Earlier this week the temperatures were in the 80s (thankfully today the tempearture was in the 50s--just in time for Thanksgiving).

As a result, we have to be creative in how we teach Maxwell about this particular season (winter is another story!). Here are some pictures from earlier in the fall when we went to a local pumpkin patch and then when we made pancakes in the shape of leaves. We hope that wherever you are, you have enjoyed the fall season!
